Boulder Canyon

Boulder Canyon bike path
Boulder Canyon
Although the bouldering in Boulder Canyon lacks the wilderness feel of neighboring areas in the Flatirons, it is still a killer place to go for a quick pump on steep granite. The climbing here tends toward steep traverses (read: cave-like climbing) on good incuts and crimpers.

Rock and Road

The Patio, Barrio, Clocktower and the Strip Mine are probably the best bang for your buck if you need to squeeze in a short session and don't have time to hike or are tired of Flagstaff or Sanitas. Most of these areas are just off the road, making for two minute approaches but also a fair amount of engine noise while you're climbing.
